Just wanted to make a little update so I am not reported missing or something..eh.. Anyway, tonight I am working on a pretty okay little track, if I may say so. I have been adding both synth-expansions and weird little samples to my collection lately, so there is a lot of new stuff to use as a springboard for the rest of the track. I usually start with a single sound, usually an arp, bass, pad or a vocal sample, and try out how wacko I can modify that sound and then build the rest of the crap around it.
Since I’ve been using pretty much the same bunch of “tools” since 2008 it was about time to get some fresh inspiration by getting some new ones, as I have been doing now and then in the past. It is a good way to move forward when you feel stuck. Now I should have enough to last to the summer
